My timid whisper bids you, “Come.”

He’s spoken: You’re the chosen one.

Champion with the heart of glass,

I’ll take your hand. You’ll fill my grasp.

For I have songs to sing to you.

Once dreamed by strings, their words proved true!

Hard to believe, yet it sounds real—

A tune that time shall soon reveal.

Please tell me… Do you know the plan?

The one He’s placed within your hand?

I’ve heard His call and know the time.

I sense you’re near, yet remain blind.

What makes you hide yourself from me?

Belief you’re not as you “should be”?

Let not flaws be why you stall.

Your scars, I’ve seen. I’ll heal them all.

For me, you are the summer air.

Your silver wind unfurls my hair.

A smile that thaws the July sun—

Beneath its warmth I’ve come undone.

Night unfolds—the tender flower—

it blooms into the rooster’s hour.

It’s then that we convene in heart,

although our flesh remains apart.

I gaze at you in sweet repose

as your arrow pierces foes.

You’re blessed beyond what fades or rots.

He’s tested you and you’ve failed not.

For now, you’re slain. Deep sorrow sown.

A growl of angst, a woeful moan.

I wish to wipe your ego’s tears,

but I’m fenced in with no way near.

So here I watch from fields of sand,

imprisoned by both sea and land.

I wait for you to stand—Arise!

Affirm my soul. Convince my eyes.

Just a girl lost in a daydream who is trying her best to color inside of the lines like everyone else, but is finding the act of smearing watercolor outside of the lines much, much more enjoyable.
