Hi, guys! Just popping in with a brief, but exciting announcement.
I started a new weight loss blog! 🎉
The whole thing was pretty random and haphazard (It wasn’t even a thought in my mind twenty-four hours ago), but once the inspiration struck, everything just came together as though I’d been planning for weeks.
If you’ve been following me for any amount of time you may be aware that I’ve been struggling to lose weight for years. I’ve touched upon this topic off and on throughout my time writing here, but it’s been of significant focus over the last few months. This is primarily due to the fact that I’ve started having a really difficult time coping with the negative effects of being overweight (ie. poor self image, deliberate isolation, unhealthy preoccupation with food and weight, etc.). It has been a very rough last couple of months, but I’m determined to turn things around–this time for good.
Over the years, there have been countless challenges preventing me from solving my weight problems in a sustainable manner. Admittedly, I have often turned to inappropriate methods to achieve rapid weight loss and maintain a dysfunctional attitude towards food itself. But despite my prior failures in this particular area of my life, I am more determined than ever to set things straight. Instead of relying upon quick fixes and radical diets (like all the other times), I will be dismantling this curse from its roots.
My new daily blog, Back Rolls To Bank Rolls, will chronicle that process from Day One til beyond. And yes, I really will be posting daily… unless something crazy happens and I simply can’t. 😝
I know some of you subscribed to this blog after reading my prior weight-related posts, so I hope to see some of you over on BR2BR. I’m not sure what I plan to do with this particular content over here, but if you are interested in seeing how many days it takes for me to finally reach my oh-so-coveted 117 lbs, you will definitely want to tune in over there.
I’ve just published my very first post detailing how Day One went; it was pretty funny.
The new blog should be a lot of fun most days (even if the dieting and exercising doesn’t always follow suit). I plan to do some podcast style posts as well, and maybe even take to Youtube at some point… who knows what the future holds?
While I may not have a crystal ball to see all that lies ahead, I definitely know one thing: I am going to fight and claw my way to a smaller dress size for as long as it takes until I get it.
And I would be super happy to have you guys join me as I do. ☺️💖
